SPAIN, ITALY AND PORTUGAL
Who?
Miquel Casas,
Commercial Manager for Spain, Italy and
Portugal
How long has Haloila operated in the areas you represent?
The oldest and my strongest area is Spain, where the first
machine was delivered in 1988. We have been offering services
in Spain since 1991. We have expanded into the other areas at
a later time.
What kinds of changes have taken place during this time?
The volumes of packaged loads have multiplied during these
years. This means that the product has had to evolve to meet
the current requirements, and we have also succeeded in this.
How does Haloila stand out from its competitors?
Our teamwork opens windows to new areas for the developers
of machines. It makes it possible to create sustainable
operations in several new geographical areas and branches of
industry.
How does Octopus stand out from other packaging
systems?
Octopus is a diverse range of machines that can easily be
modified to meet the requirements of different branches of
industry and environments due to the modular concept.
What is it like to work at Haloila?
Working at Haloila is excellent. On the one hand, I am free to
develop and use my creativity, while on the other I have the
support of a highly competent team to back me up.
What is your primary challenge?
The most important thing is to keep our position as a
leader. We cannot stop; we will have to keep up with
the development all the time.
What are your most important future objectives?
The future is full of surprises. We cannot know exactly
how the market will develop, and therefore we have
to be continuously ready for changes. I believe that
even though many countries are facing financial
difficulties now, we will come through this stronger
than before.
