POLAND
Who?
Wladyslaw Filipiuk,
Area Sales Manager
How long has Haloila operated in Poland?
We have had an office of our own since 2008, but the
products have been available since the 1990s through ITW
Signode and foreign companies.
What kinds of changes have taken
place during this time?
Initially, the demand for packaging machines was more
limited. Only a few lines of business, such as deliveries of
beverages or chemically packaged products, wanted them.
Currently, packaging machines are demanded by almost all
industries, as it has been noticed that using them decreases
personnel expenses and makes work faster.
How does Haloila stand out from its competitors?
To my mind, the most important distinguishing factor
is smooth international teamwork. Our contacts with
colleagues working in different countries have flowed really
naturally.
How does Octopus stand out from other packaging
systems?
We always have something new that competitors don’t.
Octopus is also suited for almost any line of business, as so
many special settings can be programmed in it. The high
quality of the product and our service are also crucial.
What is it like to work at Haloila?
I am responsible for the sales and marketing of Haloila
machines in Poland. Working at Haloila is nice as the work
is independent yet controlled enough. The work is made
easier by the fact that Haloila has a lot of international
contacts and references. The systems work, too. Of course,
a good product is behind it all. It provides new projects and
establishment of customer relationships a good foundation.
What is your primary challenge?
We want to achieve a leading position in Poland as a
supplier of packaging machines with comprehensive
service.
What are your most important future objectives?
In the future, we will aim to increase our share in the Central
and Eastern European market.
