At thirty years of age, the Octopus range still meets cus-
tomer requirements and develops continuously,” says Jyri
Lehtiö, Haloila’s Sales Director, commenting on Octopus’
anniversary range.
The key differences between the machines are their ca-
pacities and physical sizes. The portfolio is based on 14
different Octopus models that can be customised to meet
each customer’s needs. Options make it possible to adjust
the equipment to suit the customer’s product, industry and
operating environment.
A customer-oriented mindset complements our tech-
nological expertise. A company that is oriented toward the
future, research and development can take the individual
needs of its customers into account,” Sales Director Jyri
Lehtiö sums up.
INDIVIDUAL SOLUTIONS
The operating conditions of Octopus machines vary by
the customer’s line of business. The needs of food, phar-
maceutical, construction material and chemical industries
vary a lot. What is common to all of them is the need
for protecting the products cost-efficiently during pallet
transport. These starting points set extremely high require-
ments for product development.
The packaging and storage temperatures of the prod-
ucts alone can range from +40°C to -25°C,” Lehtiö says.
Up to now, all machines have been manufactured in
Masku, Finland. Assembly operations are also being
started in Taicang, China. Haloila’s customers are located
